I can only recommend Maple. It is marvellous, well-crafted. Its customer support, by the way, is excellent.

Is the Variables palette editable? once a document starts to exceed 10+ pages, it becomes very tedious to scroll up and down to make edits. Would be nice if one can make quick edits via the palette

Thanks for your interest. These particular examples have been generated using the practice commands included in the Grading package: Grading:-IntPractice and Grading:-FactorPractice. Please note that the package also includes commands that can handle other type of problems such as SolvePractice or LimitPractice.

There is the View menu's selectable "Zoom Factor", but this does not (for example) change the size of the icons in palettes. Maple users should be able to change the size of palette icons, because they are too small on high resolution displays.

As an alternative to language models, it could be interesting to have a menu of simple recipes. So given a simple function f, the student may wish to Plot he graph, find minima, find extrema, find roots, get the equation of a tangent line, find intersection with the graph of another function. Ideally each recipe should generate maple code that is added to the document. This way the students can learn proper Maple while browsing a menu system.

Here are some extra wishes for Maple 2025 from a high school teacher * Add 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional vectors to the expression palette (My students keep using the binomial coefficient) * Introduce a simple way to do realsolve (Only accept real solutions). * Allow me to use the arrow keys to move out of an equation, so I can always place a text field between two equations * Allow me to use the mouse to mark some text and directly turn it into a math-field. * Option to change background color of all math fields, so I always know if I am in math mode. * Use a special color for those math fields that have not been executed and for nonexecutable math * Color the unmatched bracket, whenever the student has forgotten to write a bracket. In the long run it could be great to have error messages that offer a fix: "I think that you forgot a bracket. Press here to add it"

Can't wait to try out the Maple 🍁 2024 version. For my specific use as a teacher it has some very interesting news. I think my students will agree with me. In general I'm disappointed in the generative language models out there, but it seems Maplesoft knows how to incorporate AI effectively into Maple 🍁.

It's amazing that people smart enough to create something a great as Maple can't even muster the technology to record intelligible audio.

How do you get graphics/diagrams that describe the problem and define values into your canvas? Does Maple Flow have a graphics drawing capability or must the graphics be developed by a third party software and imported? Or both?
